KOOSA Kids was formed in April 2005 to meet the growing demand from parents and schools for flexible childcare during out of school hours, that is, before school, after school and during the busy school holidays. This, coupled with the increasing issue of childhood obesity and the need to get children more active, has seen KOOSA Kids develop a range of clubs to meet these needs.
Out first holiday club was opened in Guildford during the Summer of 2005 and since then we have not looked back. The ever increasing demand from schools, through the extended services agenda, has seen KOOSA Kids open new clubs at regular intervals and has recently culminated with the opening of our first ‘wraparound’ service at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Guildford, with parents able to access breakfast, after school and holiday club childcare all year round.
We set out with a very simple goal, to provide parents and children with quality, affordable, active, fun childcare during the times it is needed most.
With holiday and after school childcare under £3 per hour, a dedicated, dynamic team of over 70 staff and a programme of activity focussed on ensuring your child always has as much fun as possible, we feel we are meeting this goal.
