If you didn’t then don’t worry, you are not alone. Having spoken to lots of our parents over the last few months, it appears that we could be doing a little more to publicise the genuine value that our after school clubs offer, especially during the current economic climate.
Great Value and Great Quality Childcare
KOOSA Kids after school sessions cost £8.50 per afternoon, per child (3pm to 6pm) which works out as little as £2.83 per hour. As well as the obvious financial benefits, we are also able to match this with the provision of great quality childcare. To date, all KOOSA Kids after school clubs that have been inspected by Ofsted, have been awarded a good grade for the standard and quality of care on offer.
We Accept Childcare Vouchers, Saving you £££’s
As all KOOSA Kids after school clubs are Ofsted registered, we are eligible to accept childcare vouchers as payment. Childcare Vouchers allow employers to help their employees with the cost of childcare through National Insurance and Income Tax savings up to the value of £55.00 per week. This could mean savings of over £2000 a year for a couple who are both working. All employers are able to run a childcare voucher scheme and employers do make considerable savings too. Why not ask your employer if they currently run or would be prepared to run a childcare voucher scheme.
Up to 80% reduction in After School Childcare Costs through Working Tax Credits
Nine out of ten families could save up to 80% of childcare costs through Working Tax Credit. For example, a family using a KOOSA Kids scheme, with a joint income of £50,000 per annum, should be entitled to around 50% of their childcare costs back though Working Tax Credit.
