Thursday 07 January 2016 - Crookham Juniors After School and Breakfast Club is Officially Outstanding!

Amazing news, our after school and breakfast club at Crookham Junior School in Church Crookham, Fleet was subject to a full Ofsted inspection on Monday 14th December 2015 and has been awarded the highest grade possible, 'Outstanding'!

The inspection lasted most of the afternoon with the inspector interviewing staff, observing and speaking to the children and also seeking the views of several parents.  They also carried out a thorough review of our systems, paperwork and procedures to ensure that the club was providing the best level of care for children attending.

Amongst many complimentary comments, the inspector highlighted;

'Leadership and management are exemplary. The directors and the manager ensure high standards in children's care. Staff work extremely well as a team and this has a very positive effect on improving children's progress.

Staff provide highly stimulating and varied experiences to support what children are learning at school and to promote their progress towards the next stages in their learning. Staff show a genuine interest in children's play and offer encouragement, clarify ideas and extend their creativity and thinking extremely well'
.

Needless to say, everyone at KOOSA Kids is absolutely thrilled with this news. The team at Crookham Juniors, led by Maria Wynne, our caring and extremely dedicated Site Supervisor, continues to provide a fantastic service on behalf of the children and parents and we are so pleased  for the team that their efforts have been formally recognised in such a way.

Outstanding grades are notoriously hard to achieve in the 'out of school' sector and we are all very proud that this latest outcome now means our clubs have achieved a truly amazing five 'Outstandings' in 2015 alone.
