KOOSA Kids and Ofsted

KOOSA Kids are an Ofsted registered childcare provider and therefore have to meet rigorous welfare and child development standards. All venues are registered on the Early Years Register, Childcare Register and Voluntary Childcare Register. To verify the quality of care we provide at our venues, Ofsted carry out unannounced inspections at regular intervals.

The Early Years Register standards or Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) as it is better known apply to those children attending KOOSA Kids who are aged 4 and 5. The principles we follow under EYFS to ensure your child has the best possible experience with us are grouped into four themes; A Unique Child, Positive Relationships, Enabling Environments and Learning and Development.

At each KOOSA Kids venue we also work towards the ‘Every Child Matters’ outcomes and set out to help your child be healthy, help them stay safe, help them enjoy and achieve, and help them to make a positive contribution. . A full set of operational policies and procedures outlining how we achieve these goals are available on request.

No Ofsted inspected KOOSA Kids venue has been awarded less than a 'Good' grade for the provision of care offered and four of our venues have now received the highest grade possible, 'Outstanding'. This is an unrivalled record in the out of school sector and one we are particularly proud of.
