After School Club Driver – Godalming, Surrey

Job Overview: Part-time After School Club Driver required to join our team at Godalming Junior School, Godalming, 2.40 – 4.00pm (Additional Hours may be available). Local Applicants Only. KOOSA Kids is a leading breakfast, after school and holiday club provider operating over 40 clubs across Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire and Richmond. This part-time after school club Driver role has become available as a result of KOOSA Kid’s success and continued growth.

Duties: • Actively develop a thorough understanding of relevant Ofsted standards and KOOSA Kids policies and procedures, including safeguarding and communicate concerns to the Safeguarding Officer. • Following discussion with Site Supervisor, be aware of, and maintain sensitivity, for any children with additional needs (Physical, Behaviour, Dietary). • Assist in the overall behaviour management of the children attending after school club, whilst they are in the car (MPV). • Collect children from school in the MPV, ensure they arrive safely at the After School Club. • Ensure the MPV is in good working order before leaving to collect the children. • Have a secure understanding of the MPV Rules and ensure the children follow these rules at all times. • Have a secure understanding of the MPV Regular Route Risk Assessment.

Skills/Experience: • Childcare, Playwork or Early Years experience is preferred, but not essential as training can be provided to the right candidates. • Training may include Level 3 Diploma/NVQ in Playwork, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and KOOSA Kids in-house childcare training. • Confident on the local roads around Godalming town centre. • Have a clean driving licence. • The position is subject to a police check and references.

Hours Required: 2.40 – 4.00pm, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only.

Pay: Up to £12.00 per hour
