KOOSA Kids are now recruiting for Childcare Supervisors at a number of our clubs across Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and Richmond with both Full Time and Term Time roles available.
The role of the Childcare Supervisor offers the perfect opportunity to be part of the engine room of the business with the opportunity to become the KOOSA Kids face of the school community, delivering activities to children at our after school clubs, breakfast clubs and holiday clubs. The Childcare Supervisor will assist the Quality & Delivery Manager and Regional Managers with the implementation of all our policies and procedures at the club.
This role is suitable for those starting off in the sector or those with previous/current experience and will provide the opportunity to build a career learning from highly experienced colleagues who have an extensive knowledge of the industry.
Prepare all operational paperwork for new venues
Ensure all sites are suitably prepared for operation, prior to operational period
File all operational paperwork for all sites, post operation
Print off registers and child detail forms each day before the club commences. Be responsible for all Operational Paperwork stock levels.
Carry out equipment inventories to ensure sufficient supply of equipment and resources at our clubs
Have awareness of and maintain sensitivity for any children with any additional needs (Physical, Behaviour, and Dietary). Work directly with company SENCO to ensure we meet their needs.
Actively develop a thorough understanding of relevant Ofsted standards and KOOSA Kids internal policies and procedures, including safeguarding and communicate concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Develop and demonstrate a thorough understanding of how KOOSA Kids have implemented the EYFS within its clubs.
Develop and demonstrate a thorough understanding of KOOSA Kids programme of activity and deliver accordingly to children each session.
Complete all operational paperwork (Accident Report Forms etc.) as necessary.
Each day, cross reference children attending to names on register and inform the bookings team of any irregularities.
Arrange and Lead Team Meetings - these will take place ½ termly in head office or at your school.
When required, attend recruitment events/evenings, carry out part-time/casual interviews and assist with the selection process.
Distribute brochures to schools once allocated by Marketing Manager. Collect brochures and distribution lists from Head Office.
Skills & Experience
Experience of working in the Out of School Sector, a Primary School, Pre-School or Nursery, e.g. Early Years Educator or Nursery Manager or Assistant is beneficial but not essential
Experience of coaching children in a sports or club environment beneficial but not essential
Full driving license with access to your own vehicle essential
Have a fun and energetic nature
Be inspirational, bringing fun and creativeness to the team
Be reliable and passionate over everything else
Be able to relate and engage with children aged between 4 - 13 years
Be a people person with fantastic communication skills
Have the ability to motivate others to deliver to the highest standard
