Breakfast Club Childcare Assistant – Guildford GU2

Job Overview: Part-time Breakfast Club Childcare Assistant required to join our team at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, Guildford, 7.45-8.45am. Local Applicants Only. KOOSA Kids is a leading breakfast, after school and holiday club provider operating over 40 clubs across Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire and Richmond. This part-time breakfast club assistant role has become available as a result of KOOSA Kid’s success and continued growth. We are seeking a local individual who has experience, or an interest, in working with children aged 4-12 years, enjoys working as part of a team and who is available before the start of the school day.

Duties: • Actively and enthusiastically assist fellow breakfast club workers in the safe and organised running of the breakfast club. • Assist with the preparation and serving of breakfast to children attending (no cooking required) • Ensure OFSTED standards & KOOSA Kids policies and procedures are implemented at all times.

Skills/Experience: • Experience in childcare, playwork or early years is preferred, but not essential necessary as training can be provided to the right candidates. • Training may include Level 3 Diploma/NVQ in Playwork, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and KOOSA Kids in-house childcare training.

Hours Required: 7.45am to 8.45am, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only.

Pay: Up to £9.75 per hour
