KOOSA Kids Permanent Places Agreement – Guaranteed Before or After School Childcare Sessions

Securing New Spaces at KOOSA Kids Breakfast Clubs and After School Clubs
Sessions for KOOSA Kids breakfast clubs and/or after school clubs can be booked on an ad hoc basis, as and when you need them. Breakfast Club sessions can be booked by 1pm and After School Club sessions can be booked by 6pm the working day before, subject to availability. If you require childcare on a more permanent basis, we can contract the days you require through a Permanent Places Agreement, guaranteeing your sessions on an ongoing basis.

We'd love for you to give us a call, but before that happens, the information below provides you with all the 'need to know' information for securing future places for your children at our breakfast clubs and after school clubs, including answers to some of the most frequently asked questions.

How can I find out more information about KOOSA Kids Breakfast Clubs and After School Clubs?

You can find a wealth of information about the childcare provided at our breakfast clubs and after school clubs, including an overview of activities on offer, locations, prices and FAQ’s on our After School Club and Breakfast Club pages.

What is a Permanent Places Agreement?

If you require before school or after school childcare on the same days each week, on an ongoing basis, you can set up a Permanent Places Agreement. This is a contract between yourself and KOOSA Kids, allowing us to pre-book and therefore guarantee, your child’s breakfast club and/or after school club sessions each half term, providing you with full reassurance that the childcare sessions you need will always be available to you.

A ‘Permanent Place’ is considered to be a rolling booking, for the same days (e.g. Monday, Wednesday, Friday) booked for a full half term period at a time. Contracted days can vary between breakfast club and after school clubs and separate Permanent Places Agreements would be set up if you require childcare sessions for both clubs.

All ‘permanent places’ are pre-booked in half term periods, with payment required in advance of the new half term starting. A Permanent Places Agreement by default includes all relevant sessions where the breakfast club or after school club is open each half term, except inset days, even if a session is known not to be required.

To cancel your Permanent Places Agreement with KOOSA Kids, you would need to provide a full half term’s notice in writing (by email or recorded letter). Click here to read our Bookings & Admissions Policy in full.

How do I find out more about setting up a Permanent Places Agreement?

The first port of call for all parents interested in securing a Permanent Places Agreement at one of our breakfast clubs and/or after school clubs is to read our Bookings & Admissions Policy. This will answer any questions you may have on how we manage the process of allocating places at our breakfast clubs and after school clubs; how waiting lists are managed; how and when we offer places out; how places are booked on an ongoing basis and our payment terms.

How can I add my child to a waiting list for new Breakfast and/or After School Club places?

You can add your child to our waiting list by completing a Waiting List Registration Form. Please complete a separate form for each child and for each club type, if you require sessions for both After School Club and Breakfast Club. You do not need to duplicate the Parent/Guardian information if you are returning more than one form.

Please send your completed forms by email to waitinglist@koosakids.co.uk. We will acknowledge receipt of your forms by return email, which will act as confirmation that you have been added to our waiting list. We usually endeavour to acknowledge all emails within 48 hours, however, due to added pressured during the COVID-19 pandemic, this may take longer, and we ask you to please bear with us whilst we are dealing with your enquiry. Please note that your child will not be on our waiting list until you have received an acknowledgement that we have received your waiting list registration form. If you have not received an acknowledgement within 7 working days, please do contact us again, as we may not have received your form correctly.

Can I book some breakfast club or after school club sessions on a Permanent Places Agreement and some on a casual or ad-hoc basis?

Yes, you can. We can set up a Permanent Places Agreement for your regular, ongoing childcare requirements, as detailed above. Additional sessions are subject to availability and can be booked online or by calling our Bookings Team on 01276 21884 once our telephone lines reopen.
