KOOSA Kids Annual Summer CPD Event

KOOSA Kids actively invest in professional development for all employees. Enabling our teams to have the right tools and knowledge to deliver consistently high quality childcare in a fun environment underpins our mission to deliver a fun-packed, safe and engaging environment for the children, whilst supporting working parents, year-round, with their breakfast, after school and holiday club childcare requirements.

Our annual Summer CPD Event (Continuing Professional Development) will be taking place this year on the 20th and 21st July. Open to all KOOSA Kids club staff, this event takes place across two days at St. Joseph’s Primary School in Guildford. 

Offering a mixture of practical and theoretical training, this interactive Summer CPD event is packed full of industry relevant content and will leave you feeling empowered with knowledge and ready to coach children’s sessions in age appropriate ways at KOOSA Kids holiday, after school and breakfast clubs.

Some of the topics covered during the event include:

• Programme coaching & delivery techniques – during these fun & practical sessions, you get to learn how to deliver KOOSA Kids activities to different age groups
• Introduction to Ofsted
• Safeguarding & Prevent training
• EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) – learning to support our youngest attendees
• Behaviour management techniques
• KOOSA Kids and industry related childcare policies
• Practical ‘What to do if…’ scenarios, preparing you for anything that might come your way
• Health & Safety training
