KOOSA Kids are now recruiting for After School Club Childcare Playwork Assistants at our clubs at Stoughton Infant School and St Joseph's Primary School in Guildford, Surrey (GU2).
Please note, our after school club playwork assistant positions are part time, term time only, working Monday to Thursday 2.45 - 6.00pm.
The role
As an After School Club Childcare Playwork Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the After School Club Manager alongside other After School Club Childcare Assistants in the safe and organised running of the club whilst actively and enthusiastically supporting and engaging children aged 4-11.
As an integral part of the team, you will assist in the delivery of a range of playwork activities such as Arts & Crafts, Sports, Team Games and other activities. Playwork is about removing barriers to play, and enriching the play environment, whilst providing a safe and secure setting for the children in your care. Enabling each child to explore, grow and have FUN!

Skills & Experience
This role would suit somebody with experience of working in a Primary School, Pre-School or Nursery, e.g. a Teaching Assistant, Early Years Educator or Nursery Assistant, or someone looking to move into the childcare industry
Hours
Monday to Thursday, 2.45 - 6.00pm, term tim eonly.
