Hours: Monday - Friday, 7.30 - 8.50

As Breakfast Club Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations and management of a breakfast club. Managing and directing a small team, you will ensure the safe and organised running of the club, fully supported by your Regional Manager and a dedicated Operations Team at Head Office.
Every morning, the Breakfast Club Manager will supervise a breakfast school club where you and your team will provide breakfast for and directly organise, deliver and participate in, activities with the children in your care. You will ensure all activities are delivered to KOOSA Kids and Ofsted standards at all times. You will provide a safe and secure environment for the children in your care to explore, grow and have FUN!
Overall responsibility for the day to day management of the Breakfast Club at Knaphill Lower School in Knaphill, Surrey (GU21)
Manage safe and secure ‘sign in & sign out’ process each day, communicating effectively with parents & school staff at all times
Purchase healthy snacks for the Breakfast Club
Have awareness of, and maintain sensitivity for, any children with additional needs (Physical, Behaviour, Dietary)
Develop a thorough understanding of KOOSA Kids programme of activity and deliver activities accordingly to children each morning, directing colleagues as appropriate
Actively develop a thorough understanding of relevant Ofsted standards & KOOSA Kids internal policies & procedures, including safeguarding
Carry out daily risk assessments & complete all relevant operational paperwork
Ensure all activity areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each day.
Skills & Experience
You ideally have min 2 years managerial / supervisory experience in a childcare, early years or playwork setting
A Level 3 NVQ / Diploma in Childcare or Playwork (or equivalent) is beneficial but not essential
Would suit somebody with experience of working in a Primary School, Pre-School or Nursery, e.g. a Teaching Assistant, Early Years Educator or Nursery Manager or Assistant
Be inspirational, bringing fun and creativeness to the team
Have a fun and energetic nature
Be reliable and passionate over everything else
Be able to relate and engage with children aged between 4 - 13 years
