Job Description

Due to expansion, a fantastic opportunity has just developed for the right individual to join our full time team. KOOSA Kids are one of the leading providers of Ofsted 'Outstanding' children’s holiday, after school and breakfast club childcare, directly operating 40+ clubs across the counties of Berkshire, Hampshire, Richmond & Surrey. Reporting into the Operations Manager, we are recruiting a Regional Manager to maintain and develop operations of our breakfast clubs, after school clubs and holiday clubs within an allocated geographical region. This role would suit somebody with previous experience of working in Out of School Childcare or a Primary School, Pre-School or Nursery setting, e.g. a Teacher, Teaching Assistant, Early Years Educator or Manager.

The role

  • Manage day-to-day operations of a number of after school clubs, breakfast clubs and holiday clubs within an allocated geographical region ensuring high quality childcare services are delivered to the parents and children in our clubs at all times
  • Line management of full-time and part-time staff
  • Regular visits to all clubs in region
  • Liaise with head teachers and local authority
  • Host team meetings
  • Develop training plans and arrange training for employees
  • Conduct interviews
  • Market clubs in allocated region
  • Follow KOOSA Kids policies and procedures in line with Ofsted standards
  • Be appointed person to deal with customer enquiries or complaints for the clubs in your region

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all activities are delivered to KOOSA Kids standards
  • Manage (club) staff effectively, ensuring high quality childcare services are delivered at all times
  • Provide a safe & secure environment for the children in your care
  • Enable children to explore, grow and have FUN!

Skills & Experience 

  • Minimum 2-3 years management experience in a childcare, early years or playwork setting
  • A level 3 NVQ / Diploma in Childcare or Playwork (or equivalent)
  • Full driving license and access to your own car essential

Hours

  • Full Time; Monday - Friday, 9.30am - 6.00pm + additional hours during school holidays
  • Time will be split between office and 'on-site' based work
