Following the news that schools as well as our breakfast & after school clubs can reopen from the 8th March, we are delighted to confirm that our holiday clubs will be opening their doors for the Easter Holidays (6th to 16th April)!

We understand this has been a very challenging time for everyone, juggling work with home learning & the overall pressures of living in a lockdown situation. We are excited to bring back our holiday childcare services this Easter and can't wait to have fun and put a smile back on your children's faces again (and give you a well-deserved break!).

Covid-Secure Protective Measures

In line with Government guidelines, and to reduce the risk of Covid-19 spreading, we have implemented stringent protective measures, including looking after your children in small ‘bubbles’ and enhanced cleaning protocols, to name a few.

Following a review of the updated ‘Protective Measures Guidance’ issued today, we are pleased to confirm that it looks like that we will be able to operate in a very similar way to how we have been since Summer 2020. Please note we are still actively working through the guidance so there may be some small changes still to be implemented. Please keep an eye on this page for any further updates. We are pleased to share that, having used these measures for nearly a year now, they have proven to be efficacious and practical. We are proud to provide a safe, secure & FUN environment for the children in our care, especially during these challenging times.

Whilst we have to adapt our usual holiday club programme somewhat this Easter, your children can look forward two weeks of Egg-cellent FUN!

Bookings are now open, please bear the following in mind:

• Bookings can be made for single or multiple days. Our standard day runs from 10:00am to 4:00pm, with AM & PM extensions available to cover a full day from 8:15am to 6:00pm
• Our Easter Holiday Clubs will run in a similar way to Summer and October Half Term, with a reduced programme of activity and equipment
• Our clubs will operate in a ‘Covid Secure’ way with greatly enhanced hygiene & cleaning routines
• Children will be grouped into ‘bubbles’ and those bubbles will not mix throughout the day. Please note we cannot guarantee friends will be in the same bubble, even if they are the same age.
• Government advice is to consider sending your child to the same, local setting consistently, in order to prevent your child from mixing with multiple different groups of children
• Capacities will be reduced from normal levels. We would advise you to book your sessions as soon as you know which dates you require to avoid disappointment
• Children can only access wraparound childcare where it is reasonably necessary to enable their parents and carers to work, search for work, undertake education or training, or attend a medical appointment or address a medical need, or attend a support group
• Additional Protective Measures may be added following new guidance

Opening Times & Cost

Staggered Drop off & Pick Up

Staggered drop off and pick up times will be in place to reduce crowds, limit contact & to ensure maximum activity time is on offer for your children to have FUN. We kindly ask you to respect the timings below and not to drop off or collect your children outside of these time frames as Site Supervisors will not be able to accommodate this. Registration at each specific time will be open for 10 minutes or until everyone in the queue has been signed in. 

Morning Registration - please only drop off at one of the following times:

• AM Extension: Drop Off at 8:15am or 9:00am or 10:00am
• Standard Day: Drop Off at 10:00am

Afternoon Pick Up - please only collect at one of the following times:

• Standard Day: Pick Up at 4:00pm
• PM Extension: Pick Up at 4:00pm or 5:00pm or 5:45pm

Registration will be outside, regardless of the weather, and parents will not be able to enter the building. KOOSA Kids staff will offer a contactless sign in, where parents will be asked to review any information and staff will countersign on their behalf.

How will my child be looked after?

Your children will be grouped in ‘bubbles’ by age, and according to Department for Education guidelines. Each bubble will be allocated a dedicated space, equipment & toilets.

To avoid disappointment, we would like to remind you that we are unable to guarantee your child will be placed in the same bubble as their friends. Please note, bubbles will not mix throughout the day.

Covid-Secure – Book with Confidence

Book your holiday club sessions with full confidence. Please rest assured that if your chosen club is unable to open due to COVID-19 restrictions, or for reasons beyond our control, we are unable to offer you the sessions that you have booked, we will provide you with a credit note or refund**, for the full value for all sessions booked. 

**Easter Holiday Clubs 2021 only - For debit or credit card bookings a choice of refund or credit note will be offered. For payments made by childcare voucher or tax free childcare, only a credit note will be offered. Credit notes are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

Where & when are the holiday clubs open?

*Please note our holiday club at Hook Infant School is open for children attending Hook Infants or Hook Juniors only.
